Christian Religious Education

Christian Religious Education, known as RE (Religious Education), is conducted for half an hour each week, usually on Thursday mornings, for students in Years P-6, depending on the availability of instructors.  All students attend these sessions unless a formal written request not to attend is received from a parent.

The lessons are non denominational and follow the approved lessons set by the Council for Christian Education in Schools.  Whilst instructors are not primary teacher trained, they have been accredited by DEECD.  Class teachers are in attendance during RE lessons.

Students who are not permitted to attend these sessions by parent request, work in a withdrawal room for that half hour.  No student is left unsupervised.
