The Arts

Students are involved in a range of stimulating and distinctive experiences in the areas of Music, Visual Arts, Dance, Drama, Graphics and Media.  They develop the ability to express their ideas and feelings in a variety of ways and to appreciate, respond to and reflect on the role of the arts in our society.  Specialist teachers are provided for both Visual Arts (Art/Craft) and Performing Arts (Music, Dance and Drama).  The Arts Program is linked to themes being studied by each year level where possible.  Students in Years 3 to 6 have the opportunity to join our School Choir.  Students in Years 5 and 6 are able to join our Chalcot Cheer Squad.  These groups frequently perform in the school and within the Endeavour Hills community.  All students participate in our end of year concert and Years 4 and 6 are also involved in theatrical productions.
